I’ve fully convinced myself that a certain Sinclair is supposed to be the demian (book) ending lol so demian (book) ending doodle to go along with it

I’ll throw my rambling below the cut

His way of speaking also feels calmer and more cryptic. Which could easily just be because he’s older and has seen some shit (and has been influenced by demian, like in the book), but could also be because he’s inside him or whatever. Could also explain the unnatural growth spurt.

This bit where demian has a premonition dream of the war is also directly referenced in canto 3 which is why the second smoke war actually didn’t surprise me at all, it’s been my assumption for a while actually
