open to: everyone! plot: demitri is my newest muse so this is a test for him. he’s the owner and head chef at a new causal fine dining restaurant. maybe your muse works for them, is a close friend, his sister, but really this is open to anything! 

“Taste this,” he instructed, holding out a saucy spoon to the other, eyebrows knitted together as he watched their expression unfold.

The restaurant closed over an hour ago, and despite his kitchen staff’s pleas to join them for a drink, Demitri remained behind. As a new restaurant owner, he was drunk with power, unable to stop thinking of new recipes, dishes and drinks to compliment. And often, when he didn’t answer his phone, there was only one place they could’ve been. The kitchen.

“Too much or not enough cognac?” Demitri wondered, arms crossing over his broad chest. “You need to be able to taste it without feeling like you’ve just taken a shot.” Turning back to the stove, he dipped his finger into the pan before bringing it up to his lips. “I drink too much to even taste it anymore.”

Xyla: Spitfire, unfiltered, kinda mean but truly has soft lil heart. Always commanding the attention in the room and working those around her. Very persuasive and wanting to get her way. Xy has a tough shell and pretends like nothing hurts her, but she’s quite sensitive and can take a lot of things to heart. Hopeless romantic, loves love. In some verses she has a 3 year old daughter.

Leo: Soft boy. He likes to think he’s a big shot but he isn’t as tough as he appears. Works hard, almost to a fault as he sacrifices a lot of things for the garage and growing his business. He tried to be as present as possible in his friends lives but usually is one to observe rather than start conversations. In some verses he has a 4 year old son.

Cecelia: prim and proper, always trying to be perfect to live up to familial expectations. When she does break the rules it’s to the extremes. No petty theft. Not really into monogamy, more leaning towards open relationships and being able to explore but still come back to one person. Probably very private when it comes to most things.

Jules: carefree but very focused. Searches for inspiration in places she probably shouldn’t be searching. Is determined because she’s scared of failure. Experiments with drugs and alcohol a lot to get in the ‘zone,’ but doesn’t drink or use much otherwise.

Demitri: Asshole big shot chef. Thinks he’s always right and is very hard to be persuaded. Pretty arrogant tbh and likes to feel like the smartest person in the room. But will be genuinely impressed if someone teaches him something new and interesting.

Dominic: Frat boy in a 26 year olds body. Smart though you’d never guess he is. Likes to have a good time, very protective over certain people and makes poor decisions that he always talks his way out of. Flirts for fun. Has a kid(s) by accident, but is a good dad. The kind that takes you to the park every single day until the sun goes down and sits with you during homework, even if he doesn’t understand it himself.

Esme: Curious mind, always wanting to learn more, experience more and see more. Social butterfly though definitely not the centre of attention. Has lots of questions. Is extremely loyal in friendships and relationships. Wants to be loved tbh. Bounces around in jobs, doesn’t really know what they want to do because they want to learn and do everything.

Remi: free spirit, going and doing whatever she wants. Mean. Doesn’t care if she hurts anyones feelings.

Karina: social and outgoing, but short-tempered and impatient. partier and will stay out until sunrise, can't sit still, always has earbuds in, has "a guy" for everything, perfectionist but doesn't realize it, can't drive, has never tried matcha and likely never will, always remembers her dreams and will recite them to you like a book

are cameras allowed in the bedroom? do they send nudes? do they ask for nudes? would they ever record themselves having sex / being caught up in a sexual act?

Generally, no. No cameras in the bedroom whatsoever. Demitri is a very private man, often keeping his personal life to himself and those directly involved. You might have an inkling of who he’s seeing, but you’ll know absolutely nothing about his life behind closed doors.

But he would never say no to nudes.

a home headcanon for Demitri

Demitri’s apartment in Brooklyn is pretty small, big enough to fit the necessities and have a little bit of fun. Most nights after a long shift at the restaurant, Demitri heads straight to his couch where he flips on his PS5. He plays the usual games like Call of Duty, 2k and Spiderman and falls asleep on the couch more times than he likes to admit.  So instead of treating himself to a new car, fancy watch or sizing up his apartment when DOUGLAS took off, he splurged on a new couch. A nice one at that.

a family headcanon for Demitri

His Mother is his biggest supporter. Since the injury which caused him to recalibrate his life, his mother was the first person to encourage him to learn more about the kitchen, to try new recipes and bought the latest appliances for their kitchen. Demitri was going to name the restaurant after her but his mother didn’t want his father’s or siblings’ support to go unnoticed or recognized. Instead he has her named tattooed on his left bicep.

PEAR - favourite muse?

Xyla Villanueva, definitely. She’s the first muse I created when returned to ring and has come with me almost everywhere I’ve written since. She’s also what I hope for my future, shamelessly outspoke, confident and unafraid of anything.

PUMPKIN - a muse you’d hate in real life?

Probably Jules or Demitri. Jules because we’d have very little in common and end up sitting in silence, and Demitri because he can have an ego and will try to prove me wrong even if I’m right.

GRAPE - most innocent muse?

umm Cecelia. Mainly because she’s pretty sheltered and has to maintain a good reputation and hasn’t been motivated to test her luck until pretty recently.

“You put any more salt in that water, and you might as well be cookin’ pasta in the dead sea,” Demitri chuckled as he stood off to the side, watching as Nichole used his kitchen as she pleased. The GM and Chef duo didn’t usually spend time at his apartment, keeping their meetings in the restaurant or the bar across the street. However, discussing important topics such as staffing, cuts and wage raise proved difficult with so many listening ears. That was how they ended up in his kitchen just before midnight with a pot of pasta on the stove.

Demitri moved over to the fridge and pulled out a few vegetables, placing them on the table by the cutting board. His first instinct was to get to work, but this was Nichole’s time to shine and show him her skills in the kitchen. So instead, he leaned against the counter and watched the focused expression on her face. 

“My midnight snack is cereal,” he chuckled. “This is a meal.”

Demitri's restaurant was still so new that he nearly choked on his drink when he received an email about using the space for a wedding reception. He envisioned the first few months of business would be focused on cranking out orders, finding the right staff and building an online presence to pique interest. He thought it would start slow and pick up in popularity over time, but in a blink of an eye, they built a reliable and ever-growing customer base of foodies and bar-hoppers. The Chef was thrilled and learned to roll with the punches as they came, but this was a first and Demitri was curious about the kind of couple interested in his half-decorated space for their wedding. 

Sounds of chopping vegetables, sizzling pans and mixers filled the still-closed restaurant when he was notified of the couple's arrival, there to scout the space, menu and talk pricing. But while Demiti was quick-thinking and expertly maneuvered unexpected situations, nothing would've prepared him to see her standing in the middle of his dining room with a rock on her finger and a doting fiancé by her side. 

The Chef wasn't sure how long it had been since he'd seen her. But what he was sure of was that his formative years, the years that shaped him into the man he was today, featured her. Shaking away the thoughts, Demitri plastered on his most welcoming grin as he approached. "Hey - sorry I'm a little late. Had a tray of bacon in the oven that I couldn't leave," he said, extending a hand to her fiancé and then to her. "I'm Demitri. Welcome." @lexi-rps​
