   it wasn’t often that hiroto had a day to himself. between school and his family, sometimes it felt like he was DROWNING. but this weekend was a sacred weekend to him. TIME ALONE. his parents were busy with a business trip over the weekend, and ua had decided to allow older students to leave campus and be on their own. usually, students went home to their families. with hiroto’s family being gone, he was left to his own devices. which meant wandering around japan ALONE. no picking and choosing between HERO and VILLAIN today, he was simply HIROTO. and it felt nice. thank god, he thought to himself as he walked down the street, glancing at shops and debating how he wanted to spend his time. his footsteps slow as he approaches a bakery. interesting, he thought as his stomach grumbled. sweets sounded pretty good right now. 

   hiroto opened the door, walking inside and up to the counter where he sent a small and courteous smile towards the woman at the counter. he glances towards the pastry case, and then back towards her. so many choices, he wasn’t sure what to get. maybe today, he would try his hand at small talk. after all, he was ALONE. “what would you recommend??” he asks, brow raising slightly.

thank  you  for  your  note  and  for  the  shell.  i've  never  been  to  the  beach.  at  least,  not  properly.  mum  and  dad  have  taken  me  to  brighton,  but  it's  not  the  type  of  beach  you  can  swim  in.  you  just  look  at  it  from  a  distance  and  admire  it.  you  must  be  from  somewhere  warm  if  you're  able  to  frequent  beaches  and  pick  up  seashells.  i  envy  that.  i  tried  to  listen  for  the  beach's  noise  in  the  seashell,  but  i  couldn't  hear  it.  it  may  be  because  my  ears  are  clogged  up  at  the  moment.  i  will  try  again  later  and  report  back.

What’s their texting style like?

hiroto is embarrassingly formal in his text messages. if you are texting him, you’re basically getting an email back. it’s either too much text or just a simple ‘okay’ and nothing more. 

What is on your muses phone? ( apps , photos , contacts , notes , most used emoijs .etc )

hiroto is a bare bones kind of guy. he usually just uses his phone to make phone calls, and send text messages. for his parents owning a tech company, it’s pretty odd. he doesn’t use emojis often, but if he does it’s usually just a simple smiley face. he has instagram on his phone, but doesn’t use it often. he never posts. 

How does your muse handle distressing and/or overwhelming situations?

honestly?? it depends on the situation. if it’s a situation that puts himself in harm  ( like a fight )  he is very calm and analytical. he will think through the scenario and create a plan in his mind that gets him out of the situation with the least amount of harm done to himself. now, if it’s a consistently distressing situation  ( like lets say living a double life and betraying his classmates oops )  he will push all his feelings involving the situation as far down as they can go. he will let the bad feelings simmer until he snaps. 

Do they have a sensitive spot/s?

ok so this could either be physical or emotional but i’m gonna go with emotional. he has a soft spot for people who are powerful who have been pushed aside or ignored. he wants to let them know how important they are, and he wants to make sure they know they are valued. this is a little bit of a projection from his parents attitude towards him. also cute animals. he likes cute animals.

there was maybe nothing better than being invited to a nice house, littered and filled with luxury and being offered 20 year old scotch. frankly the invitation was welcoming, but untimely. it almost seemed urgent for them to want him to come over. of course, carl knew better. people didn’t just invite people over to just have drinks, especially if it was the case they don’t speak or meet often. though the scotch was a nice offering, he knew they wanted something. “yeah..” carl laughs, taking another from the glass. “i actually knew spielberg, tarantino, all of them. i was actually apart of the casting team back then.” maybe it was luck or he truly did have a good eye for people. “but of course, this shouldn’t be about me, right? it gets boring talking about it, all of it is old news. but tell me about yourself! you said you wanted to be in a musical? i can help you out with getting an application into the casting team, but dates...” he clicks his tongue. “it really varies, depending on if you’re looking for broadway or something a little smaller. no guarantees as to whether you got the talents to get into things like broadway, no offense.” carl chuckles, trying to smile as he lifts his hand back up to take another sip. “but... take me for a guiding hand, if you will.” // @lagda​

Having been living among people for quite a while now, Hangyeol has managed to make a couple of friends here and there. Of course, he couldn't reveal his true identity to them for obvious reasons but he was open about not having experience in or have experienced certain things.

One of those things he hadn't experienced yet but had recently gotten curious about were musicals. Of course, he listened to the radio as well as watched TV but when one of his friends mentioned musicals to him, he got interested and did some research on them. Finding them fascinating, he was very delighted when his friend surprised him with tickets and invited him to his first musical experience.

Not sure how to dress for the occasion, he asked his friend and after having been given some advice and told that he wouldn’t have to wear anything too formal, he opted to go for a simple outfit.

After arriving at the venue, Hangyeol took in the atmosphere and looked around for a bit, somewhat studying how the people around him behaved to learn how someone would generally behave during events such as this. Soon there was an announcement for them to get seated as the musical was about to begin so his friend lead him into the hall and to their seats. Their seats were in the center of the third row so Hangyeol had the perfect view of the entirety of the stage.

Soon after they had sat down, the lights got dimmed and the music began to play. Right from the start, he was mesmerized by everything that was going on on stage. The presentation of the story, the vocals of the actors and actresses, as well as the entire atmosphere. Especially one of the actresses had caught his attention as he found her performance to be outstanding and he could've sworn that they've locked eyes at one point even if it was just for the blink of an eye.

He was surprised when there was a break during the performance but his friend explained to Hangyeol that it was a common practice to give the performers a chance to catch their breath, change their outfits, and it was usually also used to do bigger changes on the stage setup for the rest of the scenes.

After the break was over, they went back to their seats, and much to Hangyeol's disappointment, the musical was over quicker than he anticipated. If it would've been up to him, it could've gone on for another hour or two.

As they were leaving the hall, his friend let him know that there was going to be an afterparty and that he got them tickets in advance in case Hangyeol wanted to go. Of course, he wanted to go and so they made their way to the rather large back room where the afterparty was held after stepping outside for some fresh air.

Feeling a bit hungry, Hangyeol was glad that there was a buffet which they immediately made their way towards to grab some food. Once both of them had filled their plate, they went to sit down at one of the tables in the corner where a server came up to them and asked if they wanted anything to drink. They both ordered a beer then started to eat.

A short time later, the server came back with the beer they've ordered and put the glasses down then disappeared again. When Hangyeol looked up and around, he noticed some of the performers entering the room and grabbing some food from the buffet as well before finding a table to sit at. That's when he noticed a woman who he believed to be the actress he thought to have locked eyes with when she was performing on stage earlier and unintentionally ended up staring at her without realizing it.
