There are three reasons the media are reacting so harshly to Trump’s concerns about the plight of white farmers in South Africa.
1. To use Derrida’s term, it deconstructs and negates the “White Privilege” theory common in the dominant culture and the far-left pit of academia. Admitting that Europeans don’t have some unique privilege around them and can suffer like other racial and ethnic groups is an impossibility to them.
2. With many Americans concerned about ongoing demographic shifts, what’s occurring justifies their worries. If the European minority in South Africa can face an endless hellscape there, can the same occur to European populations in America if their numbers drop considerably?
3. The mass media pushed for the end of Apartheid under the guise of “Human Rights” during the 70′s and 80′s, which in reality favored business and political interests who hated any vestige of colonialism on the continent because they didn’t like its restrictiveness to capital and control. They don’t like to admit when they contribute to other’s suffering by ending what provided blacks the best living standards on the continent.
Much like the NY Times’ Walter Duranty covering up the Holodomor and receiving a Pulitzer, which they still have, despite the lies being exposed.
