One time i was in my room and i gelt i was going crazy because i kept faintly hearing funkytown playing somewhere. It was driving me up the walls because why do i hear funky town? What would be playing funky town? Why is it so faint? Why do i only hear it sometimes? Why is it only the chorus?
THERE WAS A TOY CAR THAT I HADN’T USED IN SEVERAL YEARS BURIED WITHIN MY CLOSET AND ONE OF THE OBJECTS ABOVE THE BOX IT WAS IN HAD SHIFTED IN A WAY THAT THE BUTTON ON IT WAS PLAYING THE CHORUS OF FUNKYTOWN ON LOOP. AND IT WAS SO BURIED UNDER OTHER STUFF, AND LITERALLY IN MY CLOSET MAKING IT SUPER FAINT, ESPECIALLY WHEN I WAS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ROOM FROM MY CLOSET.
I DONT KNOW HOW THAT THING HADNT RUN OUT OF BATTERIES BUT IT WAS NEARLY MY DOWNFALL.
I still have it, this was fairly recent. It sits in a drawer where it cannot haunt me with funky town
