Demon Hordes of Demise & (Calamity) Ganon
The demons —monsters — that roam across Lorule are exactly the same as those that inhabit Ganon's Dark World in A Link to the Past, and appear to be many of the same monsters now amok in Hyrule in Breath of the Wild, fuelling my theory on how Demise himself was a conqueror from Lorule who came to Hylia's realm to steal the Triforce, entrusted to her by the gods, for himself. This implies one of two things: A) that the Lorulean counterpart to the Triforce was already destroyed, or B) it was out of his reach through some means… In either case, his demon horde came with him from his old world, through — according to Skyward Sword — a deep fissure in the earth (much like the fissures we witness in ALBW connecting Hyrule to Lorule centuries on in the Fallen Hero timeline). Demise's incarnation, a la Ganon, would theoretically spawn the self-same beasts to build up his army. And when Calamity Ganon broke free into Hyrule from his imprisonment in the Dark World, he brought his friends with him.
Matthias single-handedly exterminate the whole demon horde using the sword Lurie made for him.
i’ll let you in on a little secret. i have a lot of those.
Lyro Thousand-Tales, one of the younger ones from an invading forces of demons but by no means a stupid or inexperienced one. extremely skilled at deceit and lies, he enjoys nothing more than twining people around his pinkies as a ruse for a pastime, and on the side, is fond of philosophical debates about existentiality.
