Still crazy how much inspiration and references From put from Dark Souls 2 into Elden Ring (and Dark Souls 3), and so many supposed dark souls fans still say Dark Souls 2 was dog water.

If i had to tier list From’s games Dark Souls 2 would actually be above ds1 and ds2 and demons souls for me. With the top three spots belonging to Bloodborne, Elden Ring and Sekiro in interchangeable spots.

Nightreign is also great, but belongs in an entirely different category to all their mainline games, since its nearly entirely multiplayer with limited story.

First time ever playing demon souls and if you say this is your favorite souls games out of all the other games YOUR FUCKING LYING. The run backs awful, no fucking checkpoints, bosses not great. The thing is even the worst souls game is still good so I still had fun but there is no way this is someone favorite souls game. I haven’t played dark souls 2 and I heard worse so need to try that out some day.
