“How did you get in here?”
Showing up in enemy territory was never a good idea, Miyuki knew as much. But she hated having to remain passive in the battle against the Phantom Empire when they had extended their reach to so much of their world already!
So she had prepared a plan: She would enter the Blue Sky Kingdom’s castle with the Book Gate, try to learn information about the Phantom Empire’s activities, and maybe sabotage them from the inside. If she wasn’t back in two hours, Sunny and the others were to storm into the castle, save her, and then they’d all escape.
(”But... how?” - “Eh. We’ll figure a way. Don’cha worry about details, Yayoi.”)
Risky. But not the dumbest plan they ever came up with. And right now, it had been twenty minutes Miyuki was in the corrupted castle of Blue Sky.
Miyuki had used the Dress Decor to make herself a more than convincing Choiark costume (actually a pretty mediocre one). She managed to fool the General she had met, Oresky, and the other Choiarks with ease, and she even got some interesting bits of infos. So far, her infiltration was a success!
Apparently, Queen Mirage had caught a cold - she still was human after all - so she would remain in bed and her throne room would be empty at that time. And that adviser of the queen, that “Deep Mirror” Oresky mentioned every times Miyuki walked past him, wouldn’t be guarded.
So of course, Miyuki knew that was the opportunity she had been waiting for. She sneaked into the throne room when she got the chance to, and arrived in front of the gigantic mirror. It looked quite ordinary to her. But she had read enough stories with mysterious mirrors at the service of twisted rulers to know not to trust her eyes when she was around that thing.
She was going to interrogate the mirror, and destroy it afterward. But just as she was about to start talking to it, a voice called from behind her. Miyuki froze for a few seconds and slowly turned around, only to find herself face to face with another one of Mirage’s generals.
And she recognized him as the famed Precure Hunter, the most fearsome of the Phantom Empire’s warriors. Miyuki gulped, hoping her disguise would fool him too. Seeing how many Precures he had already defeated, Miyuki knew for sure he wasn’t someone she would want to take on in a one-on-one battle.
“E-E-Erm.... Choi?”
