my dad's house did the settling thing where it used to make the sound that something was on fire, but that was 10+ years ago and it's still creepy as anything. yeah, everything creaks but sometimes it just sounds like more.

i've heard footsteps more at my dad's house but its so creepy like you just lie in bed and can hear things moving around and it stops the second you try listen for it, so something knows how scared i am and its taunting me. yeah i actually need sam and dean to sort it out.

ugh just don't i've heard things walking along the landing and across the roof, my mum thinks i'm being paranoid (i'm also pretty sure there is a dead body under my dad's house there's all manner of creepy stuff that goes on there)

no but the army used to train in the field thats across the road in the 1940's and the house used to be part of the Lord's estate and i'm in the flat at the top of the house which would have been used by the servant/mistress so there's probably some really fucked up shit living here. (thats so not fair every house i've lived in has been over 200 years old)

it's done it before at like midnight, just randomly changes the channel and the volume goes up so we keep the salt shaker in the living room now.
