Picking her into his arms, Junhong turned to his friend with a smile. “Speaking of... This is Yujeong, our little miracle.” At the sound of her name, the tiny vampire looked up from her father’s chest, curiously scanning the demon’s face. Fascinated.

In four minutes, twelve hours had passed. Listening to his sister speak on the phone scared him more. Her husband didn’t call and didn’t show up at the time he usually does, Taejun’s sister was worried and too altered which made him get worried as well. “My sister’s husband doesn’t show up in twelve hours and she tried calling him but his phone is turned off, maybe it ran out of battery but… She doesn’t know where he is.”

Suzy leaned into her chair while smiling after finishing her report on the last exhibition. This artist was very talented and she's definitely would hold her new exhibition as well. She was satisfied with the results of her last exhibition she held. Now that this one was over she needed to think what her next big move was going to be. It was funny when she thinks about the fact she wasn't planning on doing anything related to art even though her father taught her a lot about it and back then in her own way developed a love for it. It was strange how her father's passing contributed to her ending up in the position she was now. She remembered her colleague mentioning an auction she shoud check out. He told her there were some very interesting art pieces that she probably would be interested in. Tilting her head to both sides to make her neck crack she then sat back up straight typing in the name of the auction into the google search bar and let her eyes glance over the text written on the page. She was only half interested in that until her eyes landed on the information about the art pieces. Her colleague was right. This was something else. She couldn't quite put her finger on what it was exactly, but it had something dark to it. A few days later she found herself at one of these auctions. She had to see the paintings fo herself. She was mostly bored throughout the whole thing; not interested in whatever was shown. When it was finally time for the paintings to be sold she perked up. They looked even better up close. She was definitely interested in working with the artist now. Once the event was over she walked up to the auctioner. "The paintings are true masterpieces. Do you perhaps know the name of the painter and where I can find him?" She was highly disappointed when she found out he wrked under a false name and wasn't really interested in galleries and whatnot. "Could you give him my card? In case he changes his mind." She handed him her business card with a hopeful smile; seeing the man hesitate for just a split second before taking the business card from him. "Thank you so much." She bowed her head then walked out out of the building. She truly hoped the artist of he paintings somehow was interested enough for an exhibition in her gallery. It would give the artist even more exposure and for artists that should be a good thing she always figured.

“I am a bit careful on whom I show my wings to. So right now, I can’t show you.. not yet.” He smiled softly, tilting his head to the side a little. “Not that much, no one is ever that interested.. maybe in my eyes yes.”

She gave a nod of her head.”That I can understand. I will wait patiently.~” she bit her lower lip while thinking.”ahh~ you did say they were black, right?” she points to the top of her head, meaning your horns.” are they smooth or rough?” she wonders if he thought she might be weird asking in such detail.

“I realize that” she winces as she rolls up her pant leg where the blood is soaking through her pants “I didn’t realize it was that bad. How hard did I fall?” she looked back at the spot where she had tripped over the curb and now had a gash on her leg “do you think I will need stitches?”

It was a hot day, once again. And that called for ice cream, partly for the little one at the other end of his hand, secretly for himself too. Walking down the street with a sleepy baby on his back, protected from the sun, and another excited munchkin, he was almost there, reaching the entrance of park when he met a familiar scent.
