Muscadeath 2025 - Extreme Metal Festival
19 & 20 september
Bands I saw :
Day 1 :
Villes Ardentes - French Black Metal 4/10
Wasn't a fan of the vocals and didn't get that much into it
Usquam - French Black Metal - 10/10
Really great discovery, great vocals and instrumental, nice show, had the chance to talk with the members of the band, they were really nice, I reccomend
Versatile - Swiss - Industrial/symphonic Black metal - 10/10
Amazing discovery, was such a cool experience live, really energetic and orginal music ! Nice performance on stage too ! Really interesting to look at and listen to. Also talked to a member of the band, this time it was Hatred Salander, foundater and singer of the band, nice guy ! We even took a pic together
Deathcode society - French symphonic black metal - 9/10
-1 because I saw only a small part of the concert, because I took a lot of time to buy a Shining sweatshirt because my creditcard wouln't work normally lol. But it was really great, and a friend that hosted us in his tent (also an Alcest fan) (and that we made during the fest) knew the vocalist personnally !
Asagraum - Black Metal - 9/10
One of the band that made me buy the ticket ahah
Nice show, I expected more tho, but it still was great
Belphegor - Blackened Death - 9,5/10
The big band from the show this year ; that's what made me expect them not to come late, lol I'm being a bit of a karen here but they had problems to set up the show. However the concert was incredible and really intense, I reccomend seing them live at least once
Day 2 :
Tanork -> missed the show
South of Hell(Søh) -French Death Metal- 7/10
Sadly missed most of the show, the music was pretty nice from what I've heared though
Gurkkhas - French Brutal Death Metal - 8/10
Really cool ! Nothing much to say but the band was great
Devangelic - Brutal Death Metal, Italy - 7,5/10
Nice and entertaining !
Kanine - French Deathcore - 0,5/10
Not my cup of tea musically, there were some good elements but weren't used in a way that pleased my ears lol. Not gonna lie the moment when the vocalist took out small weird ass glasses and and bubble guns surprised me a bit ahah
Massacra Legacy -French Thrash Death Metal 10/10
Was absolutely amazing ! The mosh pits were so violent I loved it !!!!!!!!!!
Demonical - Swedish Death Metal - 9,5/10
Just like the one before :)
Avulsed - Extreme Spanish Metal - 10/10
Amazing music, was a bit too tired (and a bit too drunk too ) for the mosh pits but was on the front row (as all of the concerts actually lol) and had the occasion to shake hands with Dave Rotten 5 times and had the chance to get "baptized" by him with blood (I was the one to get the most of it :P)
Was really really cool
Unleashed - Swedish Death Metal - 4/10
Last concert of the two days of festival and I wasn't in the greatest conditions to see it ngl ; didn't sleep for 3 whole days, was still a bit drunk and my body ached from moshing and headbanging for several hours. Found their music a bit too boring tho but still was fine !

In conclusion, I had an amazing weekend, such great memories, nice encounters and new music discoveries !!! Made an amazing friend (the Alcest fan) that offered us a place to 'sleep'(I didn't manage too) safe from the rain in his tent, and we're still in contact and sending eachother music reccomandations as we have similar taste !
