hi, new to all this, just discovered this community, and while i dont make posts myself, i find all this to to resonate with me. it all feels a lot like me in my real life. i notice the focus is on girls and women. can chuunis be boys or men? i wonder if this is my destiny or if im meant to be elsewhere. thank youᝰ
OF COURSEEE!!!! Chuunis have a big focus on girls and women because it's focused a lot on the magical girl genre!!! But there are absolutely male chuunis out and about, just less of them!!! I would LOVE to see more male chuunis about!!! There are still also male chuunis in anime and stuff too, so it's not like there isn't at least a little bit of representation~♡♡♡
Plus this is also why we have the terms "magical hero" and "magical boy"!!! For all our non-girls!!
Feel free to look around the community and have some fun - you can still be a chuuni just for funsies, after all! Nobody says it has to be 100% serious all the time!
