for myself! i’ve only watched the show, i haven’t read the graphic novels, so i’m only doing the keys that have shown up in the show atm. the rest will post soon!
the top stripe of each is gold, representing keys in general (not all of these keys are gold, but many of them are, and i wanted the top and bottom stripes to be uniform) and the bottom stripe of each is dark grey, representing the whispering iron that the keys are made from. the alphakeyen and demonkeyen flags have the same inner two stripes, just in reverse order, to represent how one counters the other; the angelkeyen flag uses colors from the wings it sprouts; the anywherekeyen flag uses wood colors to represent doors; the chainkeyen flag uses more shades of grey to represent the chain and lock; and the echokeyen flag uses grey-purple for echoes and brown for the wellhouse!
