Busy weekend! So yesterday we got up at 5am yesterday to head to the Border Union, Kelso with our sheepies (Bryland Hebrideans). It absolutely poured down, soaked to the knickers 💦 🚿👙 but we still had fun and my lovely Wiay won reserve champion 🏆🏆🎉🎉 Another early start (4.30am) to get Bumble over to Kinnaird Cross Country. Never been before but what a great place 😄. Lovely quiet but active show to have a young horse at. Bumble warmed up well but I made lots of mistakes (30m circle?!) and so we ended on a 34.5. To be middle of the section. First to go SJ and the warm up and he pinged round aside from an unusual looksy at the second fence so we finished on 4 faults. Off to XC and although no water there was lots of variety of fences to look at. I kept the warm up short and sweet and was off out on course within 5 mins of arriving for tack check! Anyway it worked as Bumble pinged round for a clear round 😄😄👏. Just 6 time faults (everyone had time faults) to finish in 4th place 🏵 🏵 yay 😄😄 Long day as there W was massive delays coming home so Bumble is now out chilling in the field.
