Pawn had just finished general checks, making sure his security systems were all up to date. Being out of his base for as long as he had been made him nervous when it came to nearby threats, especially when considering the recent activity outside of the CFC.
He was just about wrapped up with what he was doing, ready to leave and set the base back into hibernation mode before he saw a child curled up on the floor.
Narrowing his eye, he walked forward, hand resting on the gun on his hip. Sure, it wasn't the best course of action to shoot a child, but he doubted this was real. Gently, he pushed her with his foot, trying to observe the reaction.
