      he’s trying to suppress a smile because that was beyond cheesy and he has a reputation to uphold. except he completely fails because there’s a grin clearly spreading across his features as he shakes his head, ❝ that’s so dumb.  ❞ he loves it.

     Jokes, and particularly pick up lines, aren’t exactly her thing, but she made an exception and she doesn’t regret it. A smile appears on her lips when she notices his reaction and she tilts her head. ❝As most pick up lines are, but it might be why they work.❞
