Last night’s double feature on #TheLastDriveIn was DEMON WIND (1990) & THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL (2009)...both amazing films. ❝ I ain't tense, you're tense. ❞ He batted out the old classic taunt, not his best though as Sanji averted his gaze. He patted his pockets, searching for his packet of cigarettes. It's clear that he was acting a bit tense, an obvious sign when cigarettes are brought into the equation. To fake date Zoro is a tense thing, but not something that he was entirely against. ( Or was he? He's questioning himself. )

"You're not, hmm?" Smarmy as ever, Nami didn't bother to hide the satisfied smirk when the swordsman's rough hands slid into hers. For someone typically so confident, Zoro sure didn't like airing out his inability to find his way to a location in a straight line. She'd watched him get lost on their own ship. To be fair, the Sunny was rather large in comparison to the merry, but still...

A huff escaped her lips as she pulled the green-haired man onward towards their ship. Honestly, she never minded his company and she knew in a pinch Zoro always had her back. She wouldn't say it out loud, but it's why she had his in return.

"If it makes you feel any better, I won't tell anyone about this."

He was this close to popping a blood vessel around him that Sanji almost scrunched up the map in his hands. The cook's attention snapped at Zoro, curly brows furrowed in annoyance. Huffing, Sanji shoved the map in the swordman's hands.

❝ All right, smart-ass. Show me how you use a fuckin' map. If you know better, then do teach me, ol' great moss-sensei. ❞

Occasionally strange dreams and nightmares pictured the thief cat's beauty sleep, leading her to the deck during the quiet of night when so few crew members were truly awake. During those times there was one person she continually sought out, not daring to whisper what plagued her in the night in fear that her nightmares would become a reality... A bottle or two kept the questions at bay, not that Zoro was ever much for them unless either one of them proposed a drinking game. As much as she enjoyed the friendly competition from time to time, nights like these were called for idle prattle between like periods of silence.

Sunset waves fanned out from Nami's head, pockets of grass from the deck poking through and had Zoro not been using her hair as pillow he might have blended in seamlessly. A hush across the deck, only occasionally punctured by a snore from the men's cabin or a slap of waves against the deck. Hazy from more than a few drinks to wash away the pain from dream of mikan trees upon a tiny island, Nami muttered something about finding her way home by the stars... "You should try sometime," she giggled, grasping the man's hand and tracing a cluster of stars. "That one is your constellation, scorpius."

All that alcohol has probably short-circuited Zoro's brain finally, or so he had thought. ❝ I think you mixed up your words there, mosshead. Don't you mean stab me? Or slice me? Or dice me? ❞
