The surface was never really recommended for any Fishman nor any mermaid or merman alike. But that didn't stop the two boys from sitting on the rocks that held up in the violent crashing waves. Zoro sat across from the blonde, both getting up and leaving after a less unfortunate event had taken place prior. Zoro was not sure how to comfort the crying boy, silent as he gripped his sword. Fin waved gently, smacking against the rock he rested on.

"... I can beat them up for you." The silence broke through. "Those bullies are cowards for going after a crybaby like you. I bet I could beat 'em easy." Zoro said in an attempt to comfort...? It was hard to tell what the boy was doing, zoro thought he was doing an okay job. "I'll stick closer next time."

He raised up his blade, which was still in the over and protection of the white casing. He'd slash it down. A small SWOOSH! Espacing his lips. "They wouldn't know what hit em!"

The merman sniffled ⸻ cheeks red, embarrassed of his own negative antics. He didn't like crying in front of other people. However, it's hard not too. His brothers can be so awful. Not a single one of them care for his wellbeing — well not like his sister, but even she didn't do much. Sanji promised himself not to cry. Because wasting tears on them would mean nothing. It's just so hard.

Sanji sat on the rocks. It was easier to be out up on the surface than done below where he could bump into his brothers again. He sniffled, his mouth tight, pursed in a way that seemed sour. He swept the back of his hand along his cheeks to attempt to wipe away the tears.

“ I'm not a crybaby! ” The crybaby denied despite clear conviction that he was. Doesn't stop him from saying no to it. “ I get somethin' in my eye. ”

Then he blinked, in awe at the swoosh of the blade, but almost amused by the other who had to make the sound. That made him laugh. “ Swoosh? You can't even make it actually swoosh. You got to make the sound. Are you even allowed to have that sword? What is it made of? Just wood? ” His merman tail clapped right against the rocks as if giving the other a meagre applause.

“ You don't need to beat them. They'll come back anyway. They're assholes like that. I hate 'em. They're my brothers too but... ” He sighs as the laughter dies on his tongue. “ They could also beat you up. One versus three? You have no chance. ”
