What defines an species of demon is not by their appearance has they also evolve at an rate not possible on Earth.

What defines them is by genetics, Ones that are the most dominant for their survival. One of these might be their genetics on how they have their offspring, Their eye genetics or even abilities that could not be explained unless you use sudo science.

What is even more confusing, There aren't many "pure breeds" as almost all species can in fact have offspring with each other. This make succubus and incubus very popular, Almost as if they're a product.
