finally, finally updated tender morsel again! sorry about the wait but it is what it is

I drove thru all 67 chapters of tender morsel in 2 days and I’m. Holy shit. At first I was just in it for the absurd sexual tension but then you went and did all that worldbuilding???? Like holy shit????? It’s literally fantastic. Usually fics start with the plot and then slow burn to the smut but you did it the other way round and I adore it, thank you for this fic

yeah it’s sort of turning out to be like an upside down pyramid, isn’t it? we started off really narrow--we don’t know a whole lot about either of them, or the events that eventually led them to finding each other...and now the world’s getting bigger and the details are getting more detail-y and more characters have been showing up and some of the chapters are getting WAAAAY longer, lol

not gonna lie, i was REALLY winging it there at the beginning...like, i had no plans past smut, at first? but then somewhere along the way between their first interaction in chapter 2 and the events of chapter 8, i was like “what if i just take it slow and let them explore their feelings for each other” and from there i came up with a full-on epic of a story in my head that REFUSES TO LEAVE because i’m. SO. attached!!!!!! and it’s crazy and also hilarious how we’re already almost up to 70 chapters because i was not kidding when i said we still got a looooooong way to go....i’m currently 27 but i’ll probably be in my mid-30s by the time i get to finish it, if not past that lmao
