hi ella! i understand you completely. i unfollowed a bunch of sw*fties as well and stuck with my long time favourite mutuals because of my decreasing interest in this fandom all together. there's always been a lot of negativity there but recently, idk, i even found myself pulling away from Taylor, not just the fandom, because it stopped bringing me joy. which is a bit sad (after a decade of being her fan!) but if one must put some boundries in order to feel better, then they should always do it <3

yeah exactly like the whole point of being in a fandom is to get enjoyment out of it and recently I've just not been feeling that. I feel like I'm attached to taylor as an artist but the more the fandom talks about taylor as a person the more it makes me realise that I'm pretty detached from her in that sense I guess :/

for real tho when it comes to literati the build up was good but the relationship itself was awful. they should've stayed friends but this couldn't have possibly happened in the early 2000s tv show. opposite sex friendships? never lmao but even after all these years i still feel like i'm in the minority that thinks this way about jess and rory and i still wonder what's so appealing about these two together lmao

exactly like the chemistry is absolutely there but in practice they just quickly found that they do not work as a couple, which is obviously why rory never goes back to him when she has the chance. unfortunately rory basically wasn't allowed to be friends with boys lol (like the brief time when she's started yale and starts to get close with dean again and it could just be a nice friendship but instead they have the stupid affair 😭)
