Is R going to meet Shanks eventually?

As in to actually have a talk with him?

I'm not too sure if he will, it really depends and his chance to do that was during the little heist he did at the Marineford, though he was occupied with saving Luffy.

And for him to have a talk with Shanks, he'd have to actively seek him out, but in his mind he has no reason for doing so. If you ask R, Shanks is just another strong pirate in that world, and it's for the best to not meddle with a yonko unless the captain so wishes.

Denden Tea is supposed to be following the canon closely, though the addition of R does change some things around (re: Ace and Whitebeard are both alive), but he also is aware that certain things must happen for the sake of the story progressing and more over Luffy to become stronger. He doesn't know/remember why Luffy needs to become stronger, but he tries to make it so that it will happen nevertheless, even if it does mean that he has to avoid being present at key happenings though he sometimes slips due to the need to be present and bear witness (again, leading to Ace and WB surviving and R convincing others that the world is better off believing that they were dead, Luffy included).

So whether or not R will meet Shanks, officially, depends on the chapters that happen outside of the canon events that we are aware of and would mean that either Shanks or R decided to find the other one. Neither one of them have a reason to do so as of this moment.

Might mess around and attempt to write more DenDen Tea

So... I am now at a point where I need to start planning the rewrite fic and how to work with it since Sabaody's coming up along with Marine Ford, and I do still want to include the thing about Red fucking up the timeline juuust enough for Ace and Whitebeard to be alive and being forced to make a conscious decision of hiding that little factoid while they still lose their devilfruit abilities...

My only idea for this is that what if the devilfruits are tied to the heart of the person who eats them and from that point of view I could make it so that they no longer have the original hearts they had before they ate their respective fruits they've lost the powers associated with them. Which is fine and all, but how the hell would anyone be able to convince both of them to stay low and not do shit.

Anywho, there's a handful of chapters up and I am slowly getting back to writing it after being hit with the AO3 curse:

To the person who wrote a long comment on Denden Tea - R side fic:

I love you (like a writer does a reader).

Thank you so much for letting me know how excited you were about reading it, what you liked in it, and what your thoughts were about it.

It put things into a new perspective for me and even I myself didn't even consider the possibility of R being demisexual (I am not familiar with the asexual spectrum and its different shades) or that he came off as being one (this makes me question few things about myself as well). It also made me feel motivated to write more and in a way got me back on track regarding where I was going with it and for that I am truly grateful.

I'll do my best to deliver a good story for those who read it.
