QTV 11 Balitanghali OBB Creative Team: denim inc. Director: Paul Basinillo GMA 7’s sister channel QTV 11 was ready to test its wings in November 2005. The News and Public Affairs group were cooking a fresh approach - getting your news over lunch. Aptly called “Balitanghali”, coined from the words, “balita” (news) and “tanghali” (noon). The task: Come up with an OBB (opening billboard) for the newscast. Our solution: A one-minute video highlighting Pinoy flavor. www.denimbranded.com

caught in the act: stuck with the boob tube

Solar Entertainment has four reasons to celebrate – the birth of ETC, Jack TV, 2nd Avenue and Crime Suspense in the Philippines.Each has a unique personality, which makes them very colorful and fun to be with. Solar wants a big bash when they present everyone from their world called cable television. The task:A four-channel launch to target advertising, advertiser and media groups. Our solution:Introduce each channel as if they were people, telling us about their own worlds.The invites were disguised as evidence bags with matching data cards to identify who is who. Four rooms were dressed up to look like a crime scene, a typical guys room, talk show set and a red carpet event. The Result:An entertaining yet informative 3-day event that allowed the guests to get to know more about each channel. www.denimbranded.com

It features 12 albums of some of the best Viva artists like Sharon Cuneta, Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Jaya, Lani Misalucha and many more. With each CD for Php 150 only. The task: Come up with a new design out of Viva's best hits, in celebration of its 25 years.Our solution:We repackaged the whole set with "silver series" and simply made it look a little cooler than 25 years ago.The result:Immediate brand recognition in music stores, complete with a dispenser and merchandising.
