☁ five times my muse has thought about yours, and the one time they do something about it.
1. I should tell Deni about my new bathtub! Or would that just be bothersome? The last thing he wanted to do was be a nuisance to his friend. After all, he showed up at the other’s dorm often enough. He almost worried that Denitr was going to get sick of him at this rate. It was an unfounded worry in all likelihood, but one that concerned the elf nonetheless.
2. Ren passed by Denitr often, though sometimes he didn’t say anything. Sometimes the other boy was with Elizabeth, or with any other of his multitude of friends and acquaintances, or even on his way to work. At these times Ren wanted to say hello, but he didn’t want to disrupt whatever the other boy was up to.
3. The room was cold and empty, made lonlier by the sharp, pale light of the usually soothing moon. But tonight, even the moon couldn’t cheer the elf up. I wish Denitr was here. It was a wish he often made during lonely nights. He wished someone was there. Denitr simply seemed the most obvious choice.
4. Gentle yet striking blue eyes watched through the tall plants and grasses that lined the forest as Denitr waited for transport down to his work in Pidvone Misto. He was practicing sneaking techniques that Cara had shown him. He looks tired. I should steal him away for a vacation.
5. Ren hung over a thick branch at the waist, sprinkling snow down from his palm through the cool night air and into a white pile on the ground. It melted quickly; even the night air was warm in the summer. But not as dreadfully hot as the day, which made it more palatable to be outside in. The elf sighed as he watched the snow pile up and melt away again and again. He found his mind drifting, first to Kai, then to Denitr. Had he ever told the latter about his fall off the Academy roof? He didn’t think he had. But he didn’t exactly know what he would say about it. He still wasn’t even quite sure what to think about the situation. And he certainly didn’t want Denitr getting angry at Kai. It wasn’t the phoenix’s fault that he had fallen after all.
1.2. He was tired of it. So he did what he always did when he was tired of it: he snuck into Denitr’s room. He was lucky enough to find the other’s roommate gone, but the boy he was looking for wasn’t in the room either. Not exactly unusual. So Ren crawled into the boy’s bed and snuggled up into his blankets, drifting off to sleep as he waited for Denitr to come back.
