What would the 1p Nordics do to comfort their s/o who almost got in a crash while driving? They’re safe but just really flustered and scared. This happened to me today and I’m super freaked out
💕I’m sorry that happened💕
“Hey Princess, hey, look at me. It’s okay! You’re safe nothing happened.” Your boyfriend assured. You were sitting on the hood of the car, and your boyfriend was standing in front of you, softly rubbing the tears away with his thumbs.
You went to the movies for a date when you begged him to let you drive home and he agreed. It was a small two lane road and curved up the mountain side. Some reckless driver was doing at least 60-65 while going around a curve. Matthias grabbed and jerked the wheel just in time.
“I’m so sorry Mattie.” You mumbled bringing your hand up to grab his.
“You have nothing to apologize for, my Princess. It was their fault not yours.” He assured once more. Placing his hands on your hips he gently picked you up off the car and brought you around to the passengers seat. “Now let’s get you home. We’ll cuddle and watch movies, sound good?” He chuckled placing a soft kiss against your forehead and closing the door carefully not to hurt you.
“Luca, I’m really scared. I don’t know how it happened! I was going through the intersection and all of a sudden a car ran the red light and almost slammed into the side of my car.” You cried into your phone. “No I’m okay.....Yes I promise. Just a little freaked out.” You assured. After your “almost” incident you pulled off the side of the road into a McDonald’s to calm down. “No Luca you don’t have to! I’ll be home soon I just needed to hear your voice, it calms me.” You wiped away the hot tears that were streaming down your face. “I’ll see you when I get home.” You pressed the red button on your phone ending the call before your boyfriend had the chance to argue.
Feeling the cold wind against your numb face you decided to get back into the warmth of your heated car.
“It’s okay Y/N, these type of things happen all the time!” You exclaimed to yourself. You had the keys in the ignition but you couldn’t for the life of you completely start your car. “Ugh” You groaned burying your face in the steering wheel.
Jolting up you looked out your window only to see your boyfriend standing there with a concerned look on his face.
“Luca! What are you doing?” You asked unlocking the door so he could get in.
“You called me telling me you almost died! What did you think I was just going to continue to sit on the couch shoveling mini donuts into my face?” He asked bluntly making an unwilling giggle pass your lips. He grabbed both of your shaky hands in his and brought them up to his mouth, blowing hot air into them. “Come on, ride back with me and we’ll come get your car in the morning. For now though, let’s get you a hot shower and nap.” He smiled, planting a kiss on your hands.
“Love, the more you think about it the more freaked out you’ll get.” Emil stated tucking your worried form closer to his side.
“I know but, we could have died Em. If I was driving we definitely would be dead.” You mumbled bitterly.
“And that’s why I don’t let you drive.” He jabbed lightheartedly. Leaning down he planted a soft kiss on the top of your head. “Just let it go, Love.” Murmured against the top of your head. “No one got hurt and that’s all we should care about.”
“You’re right.” You you sighed nuzzling yourself deeper into his warm side.
“You still haven’t fallen asleep?” A groggy voice asked from next to you. The arms that we already around you tightened more and a chin was placed on top of your head, in a protective manner.
“No, it just keeps replaying.” You groaned burying your cold nose in your lovers neck. He brought the covers up further in response.
“I know it was scary and I don’t blame you for being scared. But it already happened and nothing you could do could change that. At least you are safe and that’s the most important thing and no one else got hurt either.” Your husband soothed squeezing you to his chest assuringly.
“Thanks Ber.” You smiled against his bare neck
“You’re okay. You’re okay. You’re okay.” The soft voice of your boyfriend soothed. He ran his hand through your hair and down your back.
He had just gotten back from a meeting and you decided to meet each other up for dinner. After dinner you both drive home in your own cars and he was behind you, when a big RV swerved into your lane, only 10 feet infront of you.
Burying yourself deeper into your boyfriends chest you clung to his with every shaken fiber in your being.
“Holy crap! That was terrifying. From now on I’m diving infront of you.” You boyfriend exclaimed.
“I’m never driving again!” You shouted into his chest.
“I know, I know. Let’s just get home why don’t I hook my car up to your car and drive us both home. And then once we are home we can curl up in bed and act like this never happened.” He said hushing your sobs softly. “I got you, It’s okay.”
