Denotative meaning: This package design give me a strong feeling about the size of this candy because of the front and color of the typography, Denotative meaning is the word meaning, for this example, it means this candy is huge, so the designer use MEGA to describe it. So the audience will get the information about how huge is candy can be before they see the data at the back of this package. Denotative meaning usually will be the meaning which the designer hope the audience will get at the first time, and most of the time, the meaning will delivered as same as the designer think about.
