he seemed like that quiet guy in the corner of the class that nobody really noticed, maybe one or two girls thought he looked kinda decent but never brought it up? then when he came back to tokyo-tech with his gucci a$$ outfit he made people shocked but in a good way like DAMN his glow up 😳😳😳😳😳 I’m looking very hard😳😳😳😳😳😳

I feel like Nanami would’ve been that student that had a pretty face, but his standoffish attitude made him difficult to approach. like... can you imagine catching his glance for a second. and you think to yourself “wow, he’s actually really handsome.” such strinkingly blue eyes; cold sure, but pretty nonetheless.

part of you wants to strike up a conversation, maybe be his friend. you’re not as brave as Yu or Gojo, though, so you’ll opt to be a fellow classmate in the meantime.

and then he comes back to Tokyo Tech. everything has changed about him, but also nothing at all. he’s much more confident now. hair out of his face, stride so much more open. he takes pride in his appearance with his, quote, gucci a$$ suit. all this, combined with his matured features, makes him so much more handsome.

he’s just as standoffish, though. brief and straightforward, with that cutting tone that still makes you wince.

you catch his glance again, and you notice that his eyes are still blue, but something about them seems shallow. they’re not as bright as they used to be. he’s tired, and despite how put together he is, there’s a part of him that feels incomplete. he’s looking for something. you can tell. happiness, a purpose, money -- you don’t know. but you’re dying to find out. 

maybe you could help him. 

maybe, if he’ll let you, you could be the friend you wanted to be for him then.
