Snow outside ❄️ and spring vibes inside🌷 I’ve been doing so much yoga lately that I’ve run out of clean clothes and had to bring out this very out of season outfit today. I look like I’m ready for Easter 🐣. But today was my fourth class in a row, which is huge for me. I haven’t worked out four days in a row since...ever. 🧘🏼‍♀️ And the snow is melting. It’s actually quite gorgeous outside right now. ☀️ (see my stories for the wild juxtaposition outside my apartment right now). So happy to have the day off + my yoga high to enjoy it. About Me: Kyra

I was born and raised just outside of Denver Colorado in a city where everyone knows your business and where people will remain for their entire lives. I have been striving to get out my entire life because I never really fit in anywhere. There was always someone closer and I never quite felt like anywhere was home until I went to New York City and that began an insane life changing journey. I always had it in my head that you graduated, got your degree, found the guy and then settled down. New York made me realize that, that did not need to be my path and was not my path at all. I have been through some very dark times, I have made friends along the way and have come to terms with the fact that not everyone is going to like me and that is ok.

I met Becka after a fairly traumatic and intense stint in NY where I thought I was destined to live, but as usual there were quite a few bumps in the road. I needed to meet Becka, and while I thought she was way to cool for school when I first met her I had no idea that she would be the one to help me through one of the toughest relationships I have ever been in, a time when my anxiety induced panic attacks, insomnia and an insatiable need to drink my feelings. I am much better now, Becka, my fiancé Ben, yoga and a change of scenery brought me back to life.

I currently work in fashion and I am trying to create a styling business, along with helping Becka realize her yoga dreams. I write poetry as often as I can and one day I will get over my fears of being irrelevant and I will publish, so keep and eye out.

I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will bear many fruits, here in this world and the life to come. - Henri Nouwen It would appear based on some of the comments I've read today from variius 🍑🎩 who feel it is their duty to spew hatred and or to spout off creepy comments towards those of us participating in various hashtag challenges. Know that your behavior is a direct reflection of the relationship you have with yourself rather than a statement about anyone else. Good luck on your journey. You have my sympathy for I know that your judgement of me and my IG friends is used far more harshly on yourself. For the rest of us, let's remember that it coats nothing to be a nice human.
