Hey guys! Every once in a while, I remember that I started this blog to talk about aviation related stuff and not just repost Bernie memes! So here.
I want to talk to you about the NAI.
The NAI wants to come into the US and undercut our US jobs with low wage employees from other nations, as well as circumvent our stricter labor laws here in the United States. As an active flight attendant for an american carrier, I can tell you our labor laws are already so-so as it is (how many jobs do you know where you can work 16 hours with no break and only get paid for 9 of it?) and they want to make them even WEAKER.
If you look through the history of aviation, so many of these accidents were preventable. Every rule, regulation, and law in the United States was paid for in blood. We learned lessons from them and have made the United States aviation industry the safest in the world. NAI wants to undercut our industry in the interest of corporate greed.
Don’t let them. I urge you all to write in and tell the DOT to #DenyNAI
