“I’m telling you, it’s fine, really!” It wasn’t fine, really. There was a tear in the sleeve of her sweater, and beneath it could be seen a rather bad gash. It was bleeding, and staining her sweater, but Memo was less concerned than she ought to be.

Or at least, she was trying to appear as if she was.

She was never a very good dancer. Always nervous about stepping on people’s toes, both figuratively and literally. Even more nervous when dancing with a pretty girl. She’d been mostly casting her gaze downwards, trying to watch her feet to make sure she didn’t stumble over Emily’s, with brief glances up every now and again.

“Sorry, I.. don’t dance with people much. Not like this.”

She hoped she wasn’t holding her hands too tightly.

Jill only came here for a drink or several. She wasn’t even close to being drunk yet, thanks to her implant, but she already felt like leaving. Drinking out was more fun when you had someone to drink with, else she preferred to drink at home.

As she weaved through the other people in the bar to try and make her way to the exit, another woman caught her eye and waved her over. Jill looked towards the door, then back to the woman, sighed inwardly, and walked over.

“First of all, I don’t work here. But if that’s not the reason you waved me over, what is?”

I don’t hold Priscilla as solely responsible for her actions during Marked for Death. Given her state of mind, I really don’t blame her at all. It was a perfect storm of mockery and pressure that forced her to go over her limit. Teresa refusing to explain why she killed humans only confirmed Pris’ image of her as a monster. Further more, Ilena put way too much pressure on her. In the end, she did realize this, but I never see people talking about these things. It’s simply that Pris was either a bad seed or a ticking time bomb. Nobody talks about how the others contributed.
