Jill must not have noticed when she was flipping through the papers that she accidentally slid one across her cheek. It was quick enough and small enough a papercut that she didn’t even feel it happen, and though she felt an itch on her face after a few seconds, she assumed it was just that—an itch, not a bleeding cut.

“Jill?”

Her attention was caught by Sonya’s voice, and she looked up at the other woman. Sonya must’ve done that just to get her to look up, Jill gathered, because once she did Sonya moved in with a small cloth to wipe away the pooling blood on Jill’s cheek.

“What-” One of her own hands reached up to touch the same spot, coming back down with a little bit of blood on her fingertips. “Oh... oops.”

🎨 YOUR MUSE DRAWING/PAINTING ONE OF MANY PORTRAITS OF MY MUSE

Muffet had her giant web set up in a corner of her room, one she was currently sleeping in, arms wrapped around herself, as cozy as can be. She turned over a couple times, switching to more comfortable positions (of which she’d say there  are many, when it comes to webs), and otherwise none the wiser to what Nami was doing.

She woke up when she rolled over and heard the crinkling of paper beneath her face. She accidentally rolled on top of a sketch of her Nami had stuck to that strand of web. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, opening them up now and letting the post-sleep blur fade away so that she could see... many, many more similar sketches all around her web.

And on the other side of the room was Nami, pad of paper and pencil still in hand, sketching away. Looking side to side, Muffet could see there was a variety of sketches pinned all around where she was sleeping, stuck into her web in different spots.

Some pictured her sleeping, others general body shots, a couple quicker sketches of her and Nami, etc. All of them super cute.

“Have you been drawing me this whole time?”

☂ YOUR MUSE SHIELDING MY MUSE FROM RAIN

With Nami around, Muffet didn’t even need her umbrella. It was closed and held down at her side, despite the downpour around them. That was because Nami had the absolutely magical, completely blessed, super awesome (all described as such by Muffet on numerous occasions) to divert the rain around them.

They were able to walk in their own little inverse bubble of dryness, a moving cut-out in the rainy city. Muffet didn’t need to, she knew Nami was more than capable of making the bubble larger, but she stuck close by her side anyway, three arms linked to Nami’s one.

“You’re honestly one of the best escorts I could ask for, Supernova. Can I repay you with a kiss?”

She said this every time.

☁ = being caught in the middle a storm with them

The rain wasn’t coming down too hard, but hard enough that it made waiting underneath a bus stop more worth it to Muffet than trying to cover the two of them with her one umbrella. She made it clear to the Knight that they could go along without her if they did not want to wait with her (as she had no desire to walk through any rain more than a drizzle), but they insisted.

In the meanwhile, Muffet idly swung her umbrella side to side in front of her legs, enjoying comfortable silence with her companion save for the quiet tune she was humming. But relaxed as she may have seemed, she was still very perceptive.

Her top eyes, always scanning, made note of the puddle increasing in size at the curb in front of them, and noticed a car coming from the left in the inside lane.

There was barely a moment that had passed between her noticing that and her opening the umbrella out in front of them. But with the Knight’s superior height, she held it out higher up for them, to shield them from the large splash of water the car kicked up as it drove past.

Unfortunately, that led to her bottom half being not so fortunate; her legs were soaked through. But whether she cared or not (she very much did—she hated it), she didn’t bring it up, and instead silently closed the umbrella again, going back to swinging it in front of her as if nothing had happened, humming the same simple tune once more.

9: Is there a certain writing style or colloquialisms you have to use for you muse that changes from your own?

{Jill sounds a lot more... disinterested. Like, all the time. Meanwhile, I struggle to not end half my sentences with tildes~
