An attempt to blog on tumblr. Today at #SDCC I was lucky enough to run into Brandon Hillock aka Deputy Sacks. A friend of mine was going nuts because she wanted a pic of someone walking nearby dressed as Jon Snow from Game of Thrones. I offered to take the picture. It dawned on me that Brandon loves SDCC and also cosplays as Jon Snow. I was 99% sure it was him...but what if it wasn't? His costume was THAT good. So just to make sure I asked "is your name Brandon?" He said yes, and I verified "@FanBoyBrandon?" And he said yes. Then I started squealing (man, I am so bad at meeting people I admire). I think somewhere in my jumble of words I mentioned @NeptuneRising and thanked him for doing the #VMRewatch for the #VeronicaMarsMovie. He said he loved our group and wanted a hug. He said that he had just auditioned for Quest at the ABC panel and had gotten rated very highly. Of course! He is amazing! I hope he gets all the opportunities he wants in his career. He will definitely always have my support. I will always be so grateful to him for being Deputy Sacks. =D
