ughhhh omg i just got an email from the international student advisor at SUNY telling me i have to fill out like 1000 tax forms for the IRS

Omg wtf I just met a girl from cortland in my class, she just arrived here for this semester which means we were at cortland at the same time like???? We could've passed by each other on campus

being home is so weird

like with my driving i have to double check when i'm turning to make sure i'm in the right (left) lane

today i was walking past someone and i kept right and there was confusion

its just in the little things idk its a bit weird and surreal seeing everything again, like i'm dreaming. i expect everything to have changed but everything's pretty much the same which is the weirdest thing of all

tonight i was driving a friend home -  i park at her house for uni because its really close to there, so i basically did my drive to uni - and it was so weird bc it was at night so we could like half see everything and some places on the way had changed (new stores popping up etc), but yeah it was just weird to drive to uni again. i sort of worried that i wouldnt be able to do the drive or that it was going to be weird or whatever, but it was totally normal - i know every inch of those roads and muscle memory just takes over and its just totally ordinary, which is the weirdest thing of all?

plus my old school is suuuper close to her house/uni (she can walk to both) and so we did a drive by bc we were feeling nostalgic and that was straaaange as heck because that's another home that i had

idk it's like being asleep and i half expect that any minute now i'm going to wake up in Cortland or in some city in the US, just somewhere that isnt here? its like a travel hangover man
