let’s see…she was probably a precocious sort of overly-intelligent child who knew way too much about both political and personal shenanigans. like the other Germanic kids would be completely stumped by some situation within whatever pre-medieval village they were in and Austria is there like “well, so-and-so is competing with such-and-such for leadership but he can’t let on until his father finally croaks or he’ll be disinherited and it’s all complicated by the fact that such-and-such’s wife is sleeping with the guy with the deciding vote but he doesn’t even know and…” like her capacity for understanding relationships and stuff is disturbing lmao. also she’s the type of kid to be like “if you don’t do X, i won’t speak to you again” even to her mother/father/WHATEVER and kinda gets away with it laughs.she comes off independent because of her mental ability but in fact, she needs to be babied a lot and is a cuddlebug/clinger.she likes to dress up in like purple stuff and fur and anything sparkly as some kind of practice for being really important. not that she knows she’s going to be, as such, but she just has a powerful sense of self-importance regardless.i’m sure whoever was looking after her would’ve preferred to keep her hair shorter so it was easier to deal with (although in fairness, if we’re talking about Germanics, i’m pretty sure haircare was a big thing), but she probably got to a point where she just refused to let anyone cut it and demanded it be styled and brushed constantly.when playfighting, it’s not that she was completely unable to use her little wooden sword or whatever, but it was a lot of effort so she quickly learned most of the other kids would agree to dumb truces and payments lol she’d rip them the hell off too. a Worrying Child

THIS IS THE WORST. okay this isn’t serious headcanon so much as a stupid Sims related thing but i had my Lottie-Sim writing tragic, embarrassing purple prose romance novels in her spare time and i just love the idea of her actually doing that and it’s all completely straight-faced laughs. she’s not a BAD writer on a technical level, nor does she write the typical shitty abuse plots so common to that genre lol but she writes SO heavy-handedly, super old-fashioned and gratuitous wordiness, to the point critics would wonder if she’s like 105 years old. but i feel like it’d pick up a fandom of obsessive history nerds because her shit is so accurate to the 1700s or 1800s or whenever lmao. although given that there’s some stuff we don’t know/have accurate info on it’s possible people would brush off completely true things as inaccurate and she’d fucking fume LAUGHS. she spends way too much time on inconsequential details instead of the plot and just abuses words in general. and the romance is so self-serving like it’s refreshing in one way but the male lead is always a little too worshipful of the heroine (who by the way, distracts from the romance from half the book with some shoehorned political plot). and there’s always a ton of pointless etiquette-related shit. given her life, she probably also does like LGBT books that are just as over the top but publishers would probably try and get her to tone things down laughs…pARTLY BECAUSE she insists on including a tangled web of explicit affairs between like a dozen characters. “THAT’S WHAT REALLY HAPPENED THOUGH.” “the public isn’t ready for this”
oh and she includes a lot of thinly-veiled attacks on historical figure’s characters including people who’ve been forgotten by the public. but not by her
