I thank @drivetribe for this post because it shows me that us car people have a high turnover with our cars. Therefore, we are sometimes left with regret. This regret set in for me when I sold my 2012 VW Golf. I really loved that car; Derica was her name. She was the first car that I owned for pleasure. She suited me well on my many trips to visit the beautiful car model @morggs94. She was agile, utilitarian, and just so much fun. There came a time when she wasn’t being driven. I really wanted something that was RWD so I had to say farewell. It was that day when I pledged to only buy RWD going forward. There’s just a more natural feeling driving RWD cars being pushed rather than pulled. Even though for FWD she handled quite well and was still a bundle of joy to whip around on the backroads it was devastating seeing her just sitting in the driveway. I’ll never forget Derica and the many miles of happiness she brought me. #derica #dericathevdub #vw #vwgolf #vwgolfmk5 #onceyougogerman #germanengineering #dasauto #volkswagen #volkswagengolf #awe #awecatbackexhaust #cai #coldairintake #afecoldairintake (at Pennsylvania) https://www.instagram.com/p/ByIAFf9AYKc/?igshid=1ffkaekh6b0ae
