A month ago I was approached by @ookditisderotte to share and showcase some of my images and further explain the personal stories behind them. I even attempted to write some of them in Dutch. 😂 Of course, this kind of thing doesn't happen all that often, and even if it does, I'm too humble to tell you. Nevertheless, it was a pretty cool opportunity to be able to do such a thing. After all, sharing is good and when it focuses on something you enjoy, then it makes it that little bit more meaningful. So much so, I have gathered my thoughts and produced a longer piece of writing that further explains why I use the river Rotte as one of my forms of inspiration, whether to support my writing or photography.
