I think Gwi-ma saying Jinu has never done a single thing that didn't serve himself in 400 years might be a blatant lie. Because it's simply unrealistic. Even people who are overall selfish, do selfless things sometimes, and even the people who are overall selfless, do selfish things sometimes, at times unintentionally. I think Gwi-ma said that just after "I know you" to reafirm to Jinu he has the upper hand and keep his manipulation and abuse over him to make him feel bad and remind Jinu of his control. Because I find it hard to believe Jinu didn't do at least little selfless things, even if by accident. Like, he loves Derpy and Sussie so much, who seemed to be with him for a very long time, to the point Derpy send messages in his name and Sussie uses the little hat he made that matches his and even though it was originally for Derpy (which implies Jinu has been taking care of Derpy since he was a little kitten), Jinu comments on it, but doesn't stop Sussie from taking it. So you're telling me he didn't do anything selfless for them? I'm not buying it. We see Gwi-ma lying to Jinu many times throughout the movie, wouldn't surprise me if that was one of his lies too
