TANZ MEIN HERZ “Another Version of Territory” (Desastre, 2018)

In 2014 Tanz Mein Herz - formed in 2005 - at last decide to produce their first record, Territory (Standard In-Fi, 2015) In order to carry out the recordings on Revox tape, the band hand the job to Ernest Bergez (aka Sourdure) who will end-up playing percussions and tambourine before being finally invited to join the Tanz Mein Herz familly for good. The dubbing of these tapes, produced by Guilhem Lacroux and Ernest Bergez, were layed out onto tape using three Revox tape decks, a series of analogue filters, effects and mixers all united for the occasion. These mix sessions gave birth to the recordings presented on Territory as well as a series of more adventurous mixes done on alternative takes of the themes and now presented to you on the record Une Autre Version De Territory (Another Version Of Territory).

UP-TIGHT “Melt Rain” (Desastre, 2016)

Up-Tight are a noxious trio from Japan, ghost of Les Rallizes Dénudés, who augment their sound with crushing, Sabbath-styled dynamics, earsplitting acid leads and beautiful Velvets-inspired ballads. Just when you thought you'd got to grips with Tokyo's paradigm destroying psych scene, this one hits like a sucker punch!

UP-TIGHT “無題” (Desastre, 2016)

Final track of their s/t album, reissue out next July on Desastre, 無題 is an epic 18 minutes tour de force, that takes you to another dimension as if the Velvet Underground Sister Ray’s would have a child with Acid Mothers Temple, while listenning to Amon Düül under Codeine.

FRANCE “Meltdown Of Planet Earth” (2015, Desastre)

This records is nuts. Meltdown of Planet Earth is a 59 minutes-long track, by the greatest band of France : FRANCE. This sonic onslaught sounds exactly like Death's trumpet, meticulously carved in a human bone, and is the reason why a state of emergency has been decreed in our country. Released on the promising french label Desastre. Cover by Donnie Ka and Jeremie Sauvage.
