Dear members,
It is with great sadness and regret that we announce that DarkDescent will be going on hiatus. This is not a decision we take lightly, but due to the lack of interest and activity we have had the last few months Admin Maya and myself have decided this to be the best course of action right now. We would love to continue again in the future, but when and if that is possible we don’t know. A massive thank you goes out to all our amazing members and the characters they brought to us, it was a pleasure to plot with you all. To anyone who applied even if it wasn’t successful, whoever showed an interest, or sent us a kind word I thank you as well.
DarkDescent was the first roleplay I ever joined, and helped admin, so it will always have a special place in my heart as well as all the characters I played. I hope to leave you all with fond memories of this rp as well even if they are brief. To all our members thank you for joining us, I loved meeting you all, and getting the opportunity to plot with you. To our members who returned to us an extra thank you for coming back after our previous hiatus and I hope to have the opportunity in the future to plot with you again. I wish you all the best!
Descent was maybe the second or third group I joined and the first one I became an admin of — it’s also, to this day, the best rp experience I’ve ever had. My characters and the plots they were a part of, as well as our wonderful members (both veterans and newer additions) are really special to me, and I’m going to miss everyone.
