The Broken Windows tee. Bringing light to the theory that states crime that maintaining and monitoring urban environments in a well-ordered condition may stop further vandalism and escalation into more serious crime. This is what the NYPD uses to choose which areas of the city to heavily patrol. It is believed that if the police fix these broken windows, crime in that area will cease, but why are the areas that are struggling economically targeted? Why are minorities targeted?
