Heading over to Thorn for a bit!

Atem's eyes wandered over the visitors, mild curiosity with slight amusement. Interesting how people seemed to find him, he hadn't expected it. So much to sticking to the shadows for now. He merely nodded his head in a quiet greeting, "I do not know why you are here, but hello."
Red String of Fate
Our muses are destined to kill each other
So it all boiled down to this. Atem stared at Bakura, eyes wide as he pulled the knife from his chest. He never got the chance to tell him of his mother's plan, why things ended up the way that they did.
Atem looked into his eyes, and all he saw was hatred and loathing. He sunk to his knees, trying to staunch the bleeding. He didn't have enough time, he knew the guards had heard the commotion, and were likely already on the way.
"K-kura." He said quietly. "My mother...I...she told me..." A blood bubble burst from his lips. "T-told me she would k...kill your family...and...M-marik...Odion...If I didn't....If I didn't....do....I'm sorry Kura....N-never wanted....wanted to hurt you." Atem explained brokenly, hoping to all the Gods Bakura understood.
Atem heard the knife clatter to the ground and looked up. Bakura looked horrified. "What have I done?" He asked sinking to his knees in front of Atem. He cupped his face in his hands. "All this time? All this time you've been protecting me? Protecting the people I love?" He asked a tear sliding down his cheek.
Atem nodded wincing as he felt the blood fill his lungs. "W-wanted...to...to tell you...But..."
"Don't talk." Bakura said quietly biting his lip and looking for a way to fix this. The healers wouldn't get there in time, not that there was much they could have done. Bakura had struck hard and deep.
"I'll not be without you." Bakura said firmly reaching down and picking up the knife, still covered in Atem's blood.
Atem shook his head vhenemently. "N-no!" He rasped. "Y-you...you ca-cannot DO that." He said, weakly grabbing Bakura's hand.
"Oh come now, you know as well as I do that what they will do to me when they find I've...K-killed you will be so much worse than this." He said raising the knife again.
"No! You...you...the afterlife...L-let me do it..." He said sliding his hand over the hilt of the knife. Murder was a forgivable offense. Suicide was not.
Bakura nodded and lean forward, brushing his lips across Atem's blood stained ones.
Atem smiled, his hand reaching up to stroke a lock of Bakura's hair before he plunged the knife deep into his heart. "T-thank you A-atem." Bakura whispered, falling against him.
Atem couldn't take the weight of the other, so the guards found them curled in each other's arms, just as they were the first night they met.

"Well, here we are again..."
Yuugi let out a sigh, as he shuffled through the yellow sand. This was the last place Yuugi wanted to be, since that event from two years ago. It was quite depressing, thinking of those memories...
'Aibou!' Yami started, snapping Yuugi out of his thoughts. 'I'm here now, and I don't plan on leaving. So, you don't have any need to think that way.'
Yuugi let out a small smile. He was right, like usual. "Un, I don't.. thanks.'
The boy let out a stretch, before checking the time on his phone. "Wow!~ It's already passed 3! I must have been walking around for awhile..."
Yuugi then glanced around, before realization hit him like a rock, his cheeks turning pale. "Uh oh.. Just.. where have I ended up?"
