Dear Ed, happy vansterdamniversary! a year ago today we had the time of our lives in your perfect city and you were the perfect tour guide and friend. i will never forget that trip. or you. i looked at our pics today and smiled bunches. next time though, you should referee our naked arm wrestling. love you!
This has been in my inbox since Sunday, but I’ve been busy as dicks; and therefore mostly offline; so like a bad friend, I’m responding super late.
Easter was the vansterdamniversary of the Vancouver 4/20 tweetup/tumbldown that I organized last year. It was one of the best ideas I ever followed through with!
But back to Erin and Dawn…
Saturday (4/19) was the anniversary of when we met.
Sunday(4/20) was the anniversary of we met of bunches of internet peoples, including Mike and Ashleigh who are great people, and an adorable couple. We also went to a pretty decent party. :D
Monday(4/21) was the anniversary of when you, Dawn, Mike, Ashleigh, and I when to the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Also…
It was the day we said goodbye.
You and Dawn were heading home.
Yesterday(4/22) was the anniversary of the day I started missing you, and that day might as well be today.
I still miss you. And I miss Dawn too.
Meeting you two was the absolute highlight of 2013 for me!
I’m going to try to do another Vansterdam meetup. I’m not sure when, but I hope you come. Even if that means missing you all over again.
Also, of course I’ll referee your naked arm wrestling matches!!!! I’ll make sure Dawn doesn’t cheat. ;)
hi Ed. just a week ago we were THERE and you were the best tour guide ever. it was an amazing trip and saying goodbye was tough. And by the way, you did that handstand trick really good! we totally need to do it again. i miss you already. xo
I miss you too Erin. My favorite part of the tweetup was the next day, when you, Dawn and I spent the whole day together.
I loved showing off my city, and how beautiful it is. Visiting the Capilano Suspension Bridge with Mike and Ashleigh was great, but the time we spent walking down the seawall, with just Dawn, you and I was the best part. And also I need photos of the handstand trick, so I can pretend with my friends that I can do something fancy.
I love you Erin, and I hope you can make it next year, WHEN VANSTERDAM HAPPENS AGAIN IN 2014!!
Also, I miss you on tumblr. Please come back. :(
