A new cone mandrel in the shop. Cast by Holland Anvil Company, this is one very nice piece of kit and sure to see a lot of work here at Three Rivers Forge.
It’s always nice to support an American company. I like it when folks support my work, so the least I can do is support others in their trades!
I also managed to talk Tim from Desert Owl Forge into opening his own line of shirts on Store Frontier dot Com. If you haven’t watched DOF smithing videos on youtube, you really should make a note to do so. He does a great job of it and tackles some of the harder aspects of smithing that most youtube “stars” don’t. It’s a very cool thing to be able to say I’ve helped Tim after all the good info he’s shared with me.
