I present to you: The largest picture we have obtained of the Universe
Since no one else is talking about it, what you ser above is the result of the 5 year mission by The Dark Energy Spectroscopic Industry (DESI) to scan and create the most expensive 3D Map of the universe we have right now. This is done by the detection of Dark Energy emitted by cosmic bodies, which makes 70% of the known Universe.
Every speck of light you see in this picture is a galaxy. They are separated by large empty spaces called cosmic voids, which could be millions of light years wide. Galaxies are found more frequently in groups called clusters and all together they paint a picture of the cosmos as a vast net-like body that is rapidly expanding.
This above is just a fragment of the most larger picture. You can see everything with more detail and just get an idea of how incredible this is.
