ameliamoonypond liked your post: Ok so...
The moon shone on Desirae’s eyes, illuminating the spark of mischievousness in them. She turned away from the tiny window and back to hercell. It had been two months since Des had breathed in fresh air, two months since she’d been committed to the asylum. But tonight she would breathe again because she had a brilliant plan.
Building up her courage, she ran to the door and swiftly pulled out a key. She’d stolen it from Archie when he’d come to visit for a therapy secession. Carefully she unlocked the door with only a soft click and sauntered into the hallway. She’d mapped out almost the entire institution in these last few weeks and she knew all the exits like the back of her hand. The first two guards were difficult to pass, but with some perfect timing and luck, Des made her way around. The last guard was asleep. She slipped out the backdoor and threw herself onto the grass, breathing it in. It was wonderful. The only time Desirae had been allowed outside was for short walks and with strict supervision. Honestly, it was probably her fault for trying to escape so many times. But now she was free, and that was all that matter.
Eventually, Desirae rose from the ground and started running, hearing a strange sound not too far off. She made it all the way to the main part of town when she started to get nervous. It was so dark out, none of the street lamps were on, and it felt like someone was watching her. It didn't take long for her to pick up the sound of footsteps behind her. Abruptly, she stopped and turned around. “Who’s… there?” she asked as they met face to face.
So I come back to some new followers...
Love you guys. ;)
Yesterday, I believe I would never have done what I did today. I feel like something important has happened to me. Is this possible?

Hear ye, Hear ye!
So, I've been thinking...
I want to do a bit of a Follow Friday type thing even though I only have 10 followers myself.
This week, I have 2 pages that absolutely need to be followed!
1. Chester Abernathy at http://yourperfectworldisfucked.tumblr.com/! Please follow him and send him things. He's a really awesome OUAT roleplayer and good friend. His page has been up for almost a week now so he needs a bit of love.
2. Amelia Pond at http://ameliamoonypond.tumblr.com/! Her page has been made more recently than Chester's, but she's still just as great so please follow!
Thank you an advanced if you end up following either of these two pages.
I'm going to try to remember to do a Follow Friday next week too, so if you'd like me to SHARE your page, MESSAGE ME!
Please keep in mind that I'll only be sharing other roleplay pages unless I really enjoy you're non-roleplay page.
A Very Happy Thanksgiving to You, Friends
OOC:
I hope everyone is enjoying their day and will soon be eating some great food!
Alas, I must be off for now to go and make some cookies. ;)
Broken Threads and Mirrors
Desirae stared at the ceiling with wide eyes. She was surrounded by chaos, both physically and mentally. Physically, she was surrounded by a cluttered room. Walls stained with who knows what, clothes scatter upon the floors, ripped posters of bands with black dyed hair. But their were shards of something sweeter lurking in the corners. Long lost innocence. In one corner there was a beautiful carved chest with a heavy metal padlock keeping it closed. All around the room were pink ballet shoes hanging from anything from doors to lamps. They were all tattered and worn, on the brink of collapse. Her whole room was on the brink of collapse. That was where her mental state came into play.
It too was on the brink of collapse. All the thoughts in her head were strung together by a simple thread, but the thread had been pulled taught and now only a few fibers remained connected. So why didn't she just retie the thread? Well, this was exactly what she was planning on doing. Grabbing a filled suitcase from her bed and one other object, she slipped out her open window and down a ladder.
The moon lit her path as she walked down the street out of Storybrooke. Once she found him, she would be alright again. Her mind wouldn't be on the verge of collapse anymore, and she would find her sanity again. It would be a story book ending. She approached the sign that said "Welcome to Storybrooke". Taking a breath, she stepped towards the border. Desirae was almost there when the police sirens made her heart stop.
The next few moments were nothing but a blur. Sheriff Graham pulled her away from the border and towards his police car. Her mother stood a distance away sobbing. Desirae was driven to the police station and Archie Hopper was there. He tried asking her question, but she couldn't hear them. Even if she could, she wouldn't have been able to move her mouth to respond anyway. He then moved away to whisper something to her mother that made her cry even harder. Sheriff Graham gave Mr. Hopper a few papers to sign and before she knew it, she was in yet another car being driven to the town's asylum.
The first night, Desirae remained in her trance, sitting on her bed and staring through the barred windows at the moon. The fact that she wasn't past Storybrooke's border and she wasn't with her father, only threatened her mind further but her sanity awakened with the rising sun. Mostly anyway. She had still been severely affected by her drug use and depression and was experiencing dysthymia, severe paranoia, and delusions. And so Desirae remained in the asylum, receiving daily therapy secessions with Dr. Hopper and slowly befriending other patients such as Belle and Alice.
She was finally set free when the curse was broken and everyone's memories were returned. Discovering that her father was Hook, Desirae knew that she needed to return to the fairytale world to find him and so she didn't return to her mother. Instead, she searched for a place to hide for the time being, and found such a place at Tatonya Black's circus. Secretly, she waits for Charming to find a way to Emma and Snow so that she can act as a stowaway and be reunited with her father.
