Knowing it was coming, however, and looking forward to it were two very different things. In fact, she was quite dreading it. “Allow me to just clear the air straight away, Rebekah Mikaelson.” No point in pretending she didn’t know who she was. “I can’t bring your brothers back.”

     nadia could just feel rebekah's eyes in the back of her head but she didn't let it bother her. instead she emptied her glass in peace and quiet before she finally turned around, a slight grin on her lips. "look who's here. my favorite blonde. did you miss me?"

He sinks down onto the stool right next to her (playing with fire in a way; but he likes it).  He grins when she notices him, amusement curling in his belly.  “Surely you can have a drink with me, Rebekah.  For old time’s sake.”  He sets his glass down in front of him.  “Unless, of course, you are worried about fraternizing with the enemy...”

「    Small touches here and there. Klaus isn’t into PDA very much since he’s so unused to being with anyone. So when he is with someone, he’ll find small ways to show that he enjoys it. Fingers tracing exposed skin at the hip when no one is looking / nuzzling into the neck or leaning his forehead against theirs when they’re alone / laying his head in their lap to read, etc. He’s also big on grand gestures like a surprise trip to Europe, or renting out an entire theater for a romantic date with theater.    」

「    Both ? Honestly, it’s both. He has grand ideas of love and and what it could be because he often spends time fantasizing about it, but after Aurora broke up with him, he’d been disenchanted. He believes it’s real, but not something afforded to someone like him. He believes his destiny lies in power, not love.   」

「   Nope. Once again, this is traced back to Aurora breaking his heart. He believes that love is a thing, but he doesn’t believe in true love. He thinks it’s only a fantasy that people tell themselves to feel comforted. Epic loves are wonderful notions, but the story of a villain never ends in a kiss.   」
