Following on from the visual I have been working on for Lucy Gooch, I have been experimenting with smaller landscapes and filming them to project into larger backdrops. I have chosen to use moss and other organic forms to complement the lyrics and feel of her music. It is my aim to create projections which are impactful and invoke emotion. I have approached this from a set building perspective to gain complete control over what I’m filming. Aside from that, I wanted to create dream-like visuals and in order to achieve that with the short timescale and small financial budget I am working with, I have had to be resourceful.
I will be filming in the studio for 3 days - using the appropriate equipment to enable me to turn these small islands into larger whimsical visuals. My next step would be to create the backdrop, a sky, some clouds and perhaps an evening style skyscape,
