Nikola x Veneticus doodle page!! Filled with some extra details I had in mind for them./lh
TWS FOR DOLLS, UNCANNY VALLEY, BEHEADED PEOPLE, GORE, BLOOD, IMPLIED MURDER AND MURDER ATTEMPT, KIDNAPPING, PUSHING BOUNDARIES, SHELLSHOCK, VENETICUS IS A HORRIBLE PERSON (AS USUAL), DEATH, SADISM, FLASHBACKS, IMPLIED PTSD, ETC.
So, I think for these two, Nikola would probably meet him by somehow accidentally washing up on his shore—perhaps if shes thrown into the ocean somehow. Curious, he sees her, and upon taking her in, he immediately starts to examine her. She is both nervous and flustered (since she knows damn well who he is and isnt sure how the hell shes gonna get out of this situation, and she also realizes how damn pretty he is upon getting a better look at him)—while he is so fascinated with her and taken with her appearance that he both doesnt notice her fear and doesnt care. Regardless, he intends to keep her since he is so captivated with her—and even purposefully gets close or acts like hes going to harm her when he doesnt really intend to anyway. She can clearly see hes fucking with her though, and snaps at him—which he responds to in his usual way by repeatedly intensifying his behaviors so she'll give up at some point. Despite this, she doesnt give up, and keeps resisting. He realizes shes not going to quit, so he agrees to free her, with the condition that he wont take her again should she come back—and that he'll help her if necessary. Low and behold, she comes back to visit more than once—and they eventually become friends (always giving eachother gifts, helping eachother out, etc). And then at some point transition into lovers, being very romantic with eachother all the time. Failing to not blush at even the mention of eachother, rambling about eachother constantly, being very clingy, etc.
When Nikola eventually dies though, Veneticus learns through her visits eventually stopping, and Jonathan telling him so. So, he goes into a depression of his own—and projects this onto Willow for the short remaining time he has her by being a little more sadistic with her and even giving her vivid memories of everything he did to her on the Island to the point where they feel as bad as she does whenever she has shellshock. Even if his feelings are valid, he is still very much not a good person, and makes that very evident with everything he does.
