The passed 2 months were extremely hard on me, I experienced an extremely painful miscarriage, and my body is still not well.

We drove 10 hours from Halifax to Boston. We waited 6 hours in line in the freezing cold to get front row. It took 15 hours to drive back home because as soon as we hit Maine there was a blizzard, but, WHAT A SHOW.

I couldn’t even have imagined how great their show would be, it blew me away. I have been waiting to see them live for over a decade, and it was worth every minute of travel, hiccups, and frozen toes. I was so happy, it was so hard not to cry. After the show we waited around for over an hour outside to see them, and never before have I met an entire band, let alone my favourite one.

Adam, then Hunter, then Jade then Davey, you all shook my hand, you all talked to me with respect and friendliness, what a bunch of absolutely stand up guys you are. You signed my vinyl, you took pictures with me, you smiled and laughed and made it so easy to be around you when I was so nervous I was shaking. Your kindness made my pain melt away. I walked back to the BnB crying because my life felt so complete. Thank you thank you thank you. Thank everyone who made this trip possible for me. My heart is filled with love. My blood keeps pumping.

Well, they arrived a day late for the concert but I'm still so excited to have my new Despair Faction membership card and shirt plus the physical copy of the new @afireinside album! Of course, they only had XXL left when I got to the DF shop page. Last night was AMAZING! My first time seeing @afireinside couldn't have been any better. From being able to chant "Through Our Bleeding We Are One", witnessing @daveyhavok famous crowd walk and finally seeing his jumps in person, trying to survive the mosh pit and drunken fools, seeing some of my favorite songs from older albums being played and singing along, And just being surrounded by people who share the same love for this band. The Despair Faction show was definitely the best way to experience AFI for the first time. Thank you for coming with me @jonahmen, thank you for giving us a ride to the show @swess238, and thanks to everyone who took these pictures. I wish I could relive last night, it truly was one of the best days/ nights of my life. THANK YOU @afireinside @daveyhavok @tranquilmammoth @adamacarson @jadepuget for such an incredible night and for being my safe heaven. Through your music I've been able to completely accept myself for who I am. This band means so much to me. Happy Birthday to my biggest idol, and musical influence. His lyrics and music has been a huge part of my life. His music has changed me for the better, and has helped me through every emotion I've been through since 2006. From hearing his beautiful voice in Prelude 1221, and Killing Lights, to watching every music video, and live video I could find. Hearing him, seeing the emotions and the thought he puts into his music is beyond amazing.
