A Soni Day Devotional “You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!” -Psalm 8:5-9 NIV We were made a little lower than angels, not equal to God. We were given dominion, authority over His creation, we are not the Creator. When sin entered the world it was because a God-like persona and wonderment was manifested. Creation yields to its purpose for creation. Why can't you? We as mankind were the only beings that God made in his image and his likeness yet we have a hard time yielding to his image and his likeness. We fulfill the original design of the Creator when we function as we were created. You and I were made a little lower, not equal. Heavenly Father, how majestic is your name in all the earth. Lord thank you for restoring us and reconciling us with you. Help us to receive it. Help us function as you created and thank you for being so kind and patient with us. Remove the God-like complexes we struggle with and help us yield to your will. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
